The short answer
Two problems look the same from the inside: nobody saw it, or people saw it and left. Count visits and where they came from for a week. Few visits means an attention problem: go where your users already are. Plenty of visits but almost no signups means the page or the offer is wrong: ask a few visitors what they expected to find.
Example data - Every visit on the map, including people who never sign up.
- Live: who is on the site in the last five minutes.
- Countries and cities, ranked by visits.
Silence has two causes, with opposite fixes.
If nobody saw the launch, better copy won't help; more reach will. If people saw it and left, more reach just sends more people to a page that doesn't convince them. Most founders pick a fix by feel, and often it's the wrong one.
Visits answer the question. A map of visits and their sources tells you within days whether anyone arrived, from where, and whether they stayed long enough to read.
It also tells you where your launch actually landed. A busy thread may have sent a handful of visitors while a quiet mention in a newsletter sent many more. You can't know without counting.

- 01
Add analytics before you post again
One script tag, and every visit is counted with where it came from. A launch day can't be measured afterwards.
- 02
Look at visits by source after a week
If the total is small, the problem is reach: post where your users already talk, answer their questions there, ask for a mention. If it's large, go to the next step.
- 03
Compare visits with signups
Many visits and almost no signups: rewrite the first screen so it names the problem in your visitors' words, and ask three of them what they expected.
- 04
Watch live on the day you post
A live view shows whether a post is sending people right now, so you can answer comments while they're still reading.
See every visitor, even the ones who never sign up.
Launch's script puts every visit on a map with its city and its source, including visitors who leave without signing up. A live view shows who has been on the site in the last five minutes, so you can watch a launch post work, or not, as it happens.
It's on the free plan, up to 10,000 events a month. Add the waitlist, and every signup keeps its source too.
Set up in about five minutes.

Paste one line
About two minutes
Add the script tag to your site, or run npx nordva@latest init and let your AI coding agent wire it in. The first visit shows up within a minute.
- 02
Connect Stripe, read-only
About three minutes
Create a restricted Stripe key with read permissions and paste it. Launch can only read; disconnecting deletes everything it synced. Every plan, Free included.

See who pays, and why
From the first visit
Where visitors come from, which of them sign up, what they ask you for, and which source brought the ones who pay, on one record per person.
When Launch is the wrong tool.
- You want to replay what individual visitors did (session recordings, heatmaps): Launch counts and maps visits; it doesn't record them.
Questions, answered.
How long should I wait before deciding nobody wants it?
Judge the idea on visits from people who have the problem, not on a launch nobody saw. Until the right people have arrived, silence is a reach problem, not a verdict.
Where should I post my launch?
Where the people with the problem already are: the communities, forums and newsletters they read. Tag each link so you can see which one sent visitors who stayed and signed up.
Does the map show people who didn't sign up?
Yes. Every visit is counted, with its city and country from the network. No IP address is stored. Signups and payments are counted on top.
